Halloween's a coming, a time for ghost stories, scarey things like bats & spiders, shivers running down your spine, is that someone walking over your grave? I'm scared!  Eek!!  Nah, only kidding, it's fun to get into the 'spirit' of Halloween, whether you're trick or treating, carving pumpkins, apple bobbing or casting spells, have some fun with your Halloween mani, here's one of mine using Spooky Spiders water decals from Sparkly Nails.  The designs include bats, spiders, pumpkin face, trick or treat lettering and a spiders web; 20 decals in the pack.
If you've not tried water decals before, give them a go, simply soak in a little water, remove from the backing paper, apply to your painted nails and seal with top coat - done!  These decals are great fun, perfect for Halloween.

Sparkly Nails Dotty Hearts Nail Foil

Nail Foils are really easy to use and if you've not yet tried them the Dotty Hearts Nail Foil from Sparkly Nails is perfect for a beginner.  This is because you don't have to ensure full coverage of the foil over your nail.  The foil has a clear background with white dotty hearts and spots.  Apply the special nail adhesive over your mani and wait for the glue to become transparent.  Then place the foil on top of your nail and gently rub with your finger, hoof stick or cotton bud and in seconds the design is transferred to your nail.  Apply top coat to seal and you're done! I've used these foils a couple of times in the short space of time I've had them and they will be used a lot!

Metallic Ghost Decals from Charlies Nail Art

Scared of the dark?  Frightened of things that go bump in the night?  Fear not, switch on the light and have some Halloween fun with these cute metallic ghost decals from Charlies Nail Art. They can be applied with nail glue or wet top coat, I used the latter.  The decals are silver tone one side and bronze on the other, I teamed them up with a deep green gradient (yes really green, don't know what my camera is playing at!) and cobwebs.  They come in a pack of 30 so plenty of ghoulish charms for you and your Halloween friends.

Sparkly Nails Birdcage Metallic Charms

Today's mani includes a golden Birdcage metallic charm available from Sparkly Nails.  The charms are malleable and can be shaped to the curve of your nail.  They can be applied with nail glue or wet top coat, I used the latter. The metallic charms are very dainty and intricate, something a little bit different to add to your nails.  They come in a little pot containing approx 20 charms.  Sparkly Nails have a variety of metallic charms ranging from pumpkins, snowflakes, damask patterns and more.

Beauty UK Gel FX Nail Polish - Cafe Cosmos, Pink Orchid, Midnight Iris

Here are the second 3 of 6 Gel FX Nail Polishes from Beauty UK, and like the first 3 are very well pigmented (you could get away with one coat) and are all glossy, although I have applied a glossy top coat to my manis.  Gel effect nail polish are the buzz at the moment, who doesn't want the durability and plumpness of a gel polish without the faff of having to soak off the gels.  Onto the shades: Cafe Cosmos - rich and creamy like a delicious latte, Pink Orchid - bold sexy pink, Midnight Iris - almost black, my camera flash has made it look lighter.  I applied two coats however if you're in a rush you could probably get away with one coat, very good pigmentation. 9ml bottle.

Gel effect nail polish are the buzz at the moment, who doesn't want the durability and plumpness of a gel polish without the faff of having to soak off the gels.  So when Beauty UK sent me their range of gel effect polishes I was very excited.  Here are the first 3 of 6 in their Gel FX range: Poppy Red - a bright vibrant red, Blue Himalyan - my camara flash has made this look lighter than it smart royal blue and Crimson Rose - a deep sensuous rouge noir!  I applied two coats however if you're in a rush you could deffo get away with one coat, very good pigmentation. 9ml bottle.
