smART Nails Stencils - Fireworks P078

PRESS SAMPLE
When I was a little girl, and that was a looooong time ago, we only had fireworks on Bonfire Night (5th Nov).  Nowadays Fireworks are used for lots of celebrations throughout the year, from New Year's Eve, Weddings, Theme Parks and much more.  So if you like fireworks how about creating some fabulous manis using Firework stencils from smART Nails.  Using a dusky pink and purple sponged base I added the Firework stencils in silver, gold & red shimmer.  There are 10 stencils per pack in various designs and you can reuse each one a few times.  Stencils are a great way to create nail art.   Simply peel off the stencil from the backing paper.  The stencil is transparent so you can see exactly where to place it on the nail.  Press onto your dry nail and make sure there are no air bubbles.  Seal with top coat once the stencilled polish is completely dry to avoid smearing. To reuse the stencil I put the painted stencil on the plastic packaging the stencils came in, wiped the polish off with nail polish remover and it was good to use again.
I highly recommend these stencils because they are easy, effective, fun, inexpensive and a great way to decorate you nails.

smART Nails stencils are currently $1.99 / £1.25 / €1.58 per pack and they offer international shipping at a flat rate of $5.

This is a quote from the website "There are some speculations on the web regarding the name “glass nail file” and “crystal nail file”. Some of the retailers provide inaccurate information, telling about differences in quality, production process and so on. The fact is tempered Czech glass is a crystal that comes after several stages of heat processing, therefore all so called “differences” are not more than marketing myth.
So don’t hesitate, if you are looking for glass nail file or crystal nail file you are on the right place."

Double Colour Blusher with Mirror & Brush from Born Pretty Store

I'm getting quite a healthy stash of eyeshadows from Born Pretty Store by using my reward points and therefore getting them for FREE!!  So I've branched out and got a Double Colour Blusher which comes with a mirror and small brush neatly tucked away underneath.  There's several colour combinations available and this is #2 which is a pretty pink and pale peach.  You can use the colours individually or swirl them together with the brush to give a soft rose shade.  This colour really suits my pale winter skin as the only other blusher I have is a bronzer and it's way too dark and orange without having a bit of tan.   The Blusher is a soft power and feels very smooth to the touch, it comes boxed and is a hefty 8g so will last me ages.
Check out my video below for a demonstration.
The double colour blusher is made up of a soft rose and pale peach shades
Lift the blusher to reveal a mirror and brush underneath, perfect for touch ups when you're out and about.
Here she is with her soft blush cheeks!
The Double Colour Blusher is currently $7.87 / £5.53 / €7.15.   You can also use my 10% discount code HXBQ10 which gets you 10% off full priced items. Check out the Born Pretty Store  website for loads of cool nail art goodies.

MoYou Nails Stamping Plate 401 & MoYou Nails Stamping Polishes

PRESS SAMPLE
So I've done a little experiment stamping with MoYou Nails plate 401.  Using the same image throughout (middle row second from left) I used a mauve chrome base (Models Own Chrome Mauve) and stamped with a crème sky blue (MoYou Nails Light Blue Stamping Polish).  Then my second mani I reversed it, a crème sky blue base (Nails Inc Little George Street) stamped with a mauve shimmer (MoYou Nails Majestic Violet Stamping Polish).  I wanted to see by using the same colours in reverse if it made any difference, does that make sense?  I know what I mean!
Ok, lets run through the pics and hopefully all will become clear, first up the plate from MoYou Nails, plate 401.

All pics to the left - Mauve chrome base stamped with MoYou Nails Light Blue Stamping Polish
All pics to the right - sky blue base stamped with MoYou Nails Majestic Violet Stamping Polish
In the photos I love the way the mani on the left has the mauve glistening through the blue stamping but in real life I prefer the blue base with the mauve shimmer stamping as the blue base really comes through clearly

Would you be able to tell there was a difference?

I used MoYou Nails Clear Jelly Stamper

The clear jelly stamper costs £6.99.
