Nella Milano Nail Lacquer - True Blue

I had to Google a description for the colour of Nella Milano's True Blue nail lacquer.  The best description I can find is cerulean blue, a muted dusky mid blue leaning towards a green shade rather than purple.  It's a stunning looking lacquer and my video below shows the true colour.  As with my other Nella Milano lacquers the formulation is excellent and has a gel like quality, great coverage and plump effect.  A decent size 12ml bottle, slim cap and nice flat brush for ease of application.   Lovely polish which is chip resistant.  The lacquers are available from Nella Milano at £8.95 a bottle with discount for Nail Professionals. Charlies Nail Art - Houndstooth Check Water Decals

I have a très chic mani to show you today using  Houndstooth Check Water Decals from Charlies Nail Art.  For this design I was inspired by a stylish mani by Work Play Polish (thank you!), please check out her wonderful blog.  Onto the mani.   I applied one coat of a very sheer nude polish and let it dry, I then applied the water decals on the nail but not the tip.  Then I applied top coat and once it was dry I painted a bright red polish tip and added another layer of top coat.  The Houndstooth Check Water Decals come in strips of 1, 2 & 3 so you can either cover your whole nail or just have an accent of the pattern.

smART Nails Stencils - Skull - P041

Fluorescent skull nails are the mani for today using these clever stencils from smART Nails.  The stencils include both the skull and the crossbones.  The bright yellow fluorescent polish is an added touch to this nail design, lighting up the skulls in UV light....spoooookey!!!!   The stencils are only meant to be used once but I used two stencils on one hand so plenty more fun to be had and I'll probably save them for Halloween.  They come in a pack of 10 and there are a growing number of different designs to choose from with new designs being introduced weekly.  Simply peel off the stencil from the backing paper.  The stencil is transparent so you can see exactly where to place it on the nail.  Press onto your dry nail and make sure there are no air bubbles.  Apply your contrasting polish and immediate remove the stencil.  Wait for the contrasting colour to dry and apply top coat.

Born Pretty Store Fluorescent Nail Polish - Mauve

Here's another of my growing collection of  Fluorescent Nail Polish from Born Pretty Store. This is a dusky mauve and is a lovely shade to wear just as a regular nail polish, although I was expecting the colour to be more of a blue as per their website, still gorgeous none the less.  This is 2 coats to my nails.  The polish next to a UV light looks like a bright light baby pink & no one is going to miss your nails!  It's certainly a stunner and a polish to get you noticed.  Excellent value for money, huge 15ml bottle.  Check out my video below.
