Avon Mark Nail Style Studio Satin Matte Nail Enamel - Bronzed Babe

Hope you are all having a lovely bank holiday weekend and enjoying the sunshine.
Here's my review for Bronzed Babe from the Mark Nail Style Studio Satin Matte Nail Enamel range, a gorgeous golden bronze which dries down with a satin matte sheen finish. However.....I prefer this one with a glossy top coat, in the sunshine it sparkles like crazy bonkers, perfect for today.  I'm so impressed with the dazzle I've recorded a little video clip, you have to see it to believe it.

Avon Mark Nail Style Studio Satin Matte Nail Enamel - Hail to the Queen

Following on from my review of Miss Drama from the new launch of satin matte nail enamels under the Avon Mark range, please be upstanding for the Queen - Hail to the Queen!

Hail to the Queen is a plush purple which dries down with a satin matte sheen finish.  It can be worn with a glossy top coat which brings out flashes of pink & purple shimmer - Ooooo it's lully!

I applied two coats and my photos are with and without a glossy top coat.

Photos on the left have no top coat, on the right with glossy top coat.

As with all Avon's nail enamels, the formulation is great, applies very well and dries quickly

Avon Mark Nail Style Studio Satin Matte Nail Enamel - Miss Drama

Exciting nail news!  In Avon's UK Brochure 14 (2017) sees the launch of the new Mark Nail Style Studio Satin Matte nail enamel range.  Ten dynamic frosted shades which dry down to a satin matte effect.

It's fun to watch the enamel as it dries, turning satin matte in the process.  The great thing about these polishes is you can leave as is with the satin matte finish or apply a glossy top coat which makes the frosted pigments sparkle. Super formulation and applied really well. 

Introducing 'Miss Drama' a saucy little red number.  Photos below are with camera flash, the polish dries down with a satin sheen. Two coats for a fabulous finish.

Here's Miss Drama 1) without a top coat 2) with a matte top coat 3) with a glossy top coat.  Although the difference between no top coat and matte top coat seems mild, the satin matte finish has a lustre to it whereas the matte top coat is flatter.  

 

I've also got Bronzed Babe and Hail to the Queen, gold star to the people who named the shades in this range, girl power rocks!

Made In Chelsea star Binky Felstead launches her nails range BINKY LONDON, a collection of Gorgeous Gel Effect, nail care, fashion colours, glitters and special effects polishes.

The Binky London Nail Polish has a wide brush for straight forward, lightning fast application and is 5 free, made without Dibutyl Phthalate, Toluene, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin and Camphor.  The formulation is great and at only £2 a bottle they are a very affordable treat and come in 12ml bottles.

Today I'm going to show you the Deep Sea Navy and Black with and without Matte top coat.

 

 

They all applied like a dream, the wide brush is a bonus and the formulation is great.

Born Pretty Store - Set of 3 Matte Nail Polishes

I'm starting to grow very fond of matte nail polishes as they can give your nails a completely flawless textured finish.  Some people describe them as latex or leather effect, I like them simply because they are different to the norm.  My latest 3 piece set of Matte Nail Polishes are from Born Pretty Store and they are very good value for money as you get all three.  They can be worn matte or add top coat for a glossy finish.  They dry extremely fast so if you're in a rush these are brilliant for that reason.  Big 12ml bottles, nice thin caps and decent brushes.  Check out my video below which shows the polishes going on wet and drying down to their matte finish.

I've seen a few manis using black matte nail polish and love the combination of matte & glitter/shimmer.  So I bought myself this beauty from Born Pretty Store and I'm so glad I did.  This is one coat, excellent coverage and dries incredibly fast.  The final result is smooth latex looking black matte nails - uber cool!  There are 9 colours to choose from and this is shade 15.   I really must invest in a matte top coat to make my mani last longer!  Check out my video below.
