Crumpet's Nail Tarts 31 Day Challenge - Day 2 - Silver - Barry M Silver Foil & Nails Inc Hatton Gardens

This 31 Day Challenge is hosted by the lovely Debbie, The Crumpet!

Day 2 - Silver

A pretty simple mani, the Barry M Silver Foil effect polish went on a dream, really easy to work with, dolloped with a silver glitter tip.

Onto the pics - warning - index finger nubbin alert (will this nail ever grow???)

Crumpet's Nail Tarts 31 Day Challenge - Day 1 - Black & White

How exciting, New Year and New 31 Day Challenge hosted by the lovely Debbie, The Crumpet!

Day 1 - Black & White.

Here I'm comparing OPI Black Shatter with Barry M Croc Effect, both are black over a white base. From a distance the Shatter looks more effective, but up close the Croc is far more interesting.

Onto the pics - warning - index finger nubbin alert!

Polish Days - December Theme - Bring On The Bling - Barry M Ruby Glitter

Hi everyone!  The theme for Polly Polish's 7th Polish Day is 'Bring On The Bling' so that meant I just had to use my latest glitter top coat, Barry M Ruby Glitter, layered over Color Club Nomadic Nude, to the pics .....

31 Day Nail Art - Yellow Nails

I'm a member of the Facebook Group British Nail Bloggers and Diva of The Teenage Shopaholic has organised for us (and anyone who wants to join) the infamous 31 Day Nail Art challenge which we are doing on a weekly basis rather than daily.

Day 3 - Yellow Nails.  I've got about 3 yellow nail polishes and they all look the same!  So I decided to go with Barry M as I received it in a swap and haven't yet used it so thought I'd give it a whirl.  Plain yellow on it's own is B.O.R.I.N.G!  So I blinged them up with a bit of glitter & shimmer.

My camera hasn't captured the super sparkliness at all, they are pretty blingtastic...... onto the pics.

I started of with Barry M Lemon Ice Cream, don't look too close as you'll see the cat hair!

 Ber-ling!
Here's the bad boys I used, OPI Up Front & Personal, Nails Inc Chelsea Embankment, Barry M Lemon Ice Cream
Oh, and I used those holey sticker things to do the ring finger mani effect!

And don't forget to check out what Diva and Stephanie have created this week!

Llama Nails A-Z Challenge - C is for Croc Effect

The A-Z challenge is hosted by Llama Nails on Facebook. Llama Nails is a group of nail enthusiasts that share their love of polish, stamping and nail art in a fun, creative, and non-dramatic atmosphere. Join them! All are welcome! The only rule we have is no drama, save it for the llama!

Week 3 is C and I've decided on Barry M Croc Effect nails.  I got this polish in a swap and haven't really played with it so this is the perfect opportunity.  Shatters & Crackles don't really do it for me, but I love the Croc effect.

I used different base colours, but I think it's more down to how the croc splits as to what looks best.  I applied a generous coat of the 'croc', so here goes with the photos.....

With & without Spectraflair top coat, don't cha just love it!!

 Colours used before the 'Croc'

Yep, I deffo prefer Croc effect out of all the shatters & crackles
