Floral Garden Nail Stickers from Sparkly Nails

Nail stickers are a quick, easy and mess free way of jazzing up your nails and creating unique designs.  These Floral Garden Colour Nail Stickers are from Sparkly Nails.  All you have to do is peel off from the backing sheet, apply to your nails (tweezers are handy at this point) and seal with top coat.  The stickers are on a clear plastic sheet which is helpful for placement.  Simple, fun, effective and very easy to use.  I applied them over peach & lilac base colours.

Avon Color Trend Nails Enamels - Bliss, Coral, Juicy & Limoncello

We're currently enjoying glorious sunny weather in the UK, it’s been hot hot hot which means time for some hot hot hot nails!

Bright pastels look fab in the sunshine and great with a tan, these shades are from Avon’s budget-friendly range – Color Trend

Get your sunnies on peeps, these are sunshine bright!

Bliss – sweet baby blue shade, the formulation for me was a little sheer and I needed 3 coats

Coral – a lush pinky coral, again a slightly sheer formulation and needed 3 coats

Juicy – mouth watering groovy green shade, good formulation, 2 coats

Limoncello – a hot sunshine yellow, good formulation, 2 coats

Avon Frill Lounge Dress & Lace One Bra

Uh–oh, I found another product from Avon which I know I’m going to get LOTS more of, the One Bra! 

The first thing I do when I get in from work is taking my underwired bra off.  It doesn’t matter what style or size I wear, by the end of the day I’m desperate to get it off which is why I started looking for a comfy alternative.   This is my first and won’t be my last.  The Lace One Bra is sooooo comfortable, the lace front is a nice touch and it’s good quality too. 

I ordered size 14/16, easy to put on over my head, I didn’t adjust the straps and luckily for me, it fit perfectly.  The lace is soft and stretchy, the double straps cross over the back, and has removable cups.  For my bust size it gives excellent support, and most of all, comfort.  87% Nylon, 13% Elastane.

Which brings me to my next new piece of comfortable clothing, the Frill Lounge Dress.  The first thing that struck me about the dress was the quality of the material.  I was expecting it to be T-Shirt material, or similar to PJ material, but it’s thicker than that and has a fleece backing. 

The Frill Lounge dress will be perfect for pottering around the house and garden, or when you get out the bath/shower and it’s too early for PJs but you want something comfy to wear. 

The fabric is super soft, I love the frilly armholes and has two patch pockets on the front.  I’m 5ft 6in and ordered size 14/16.  86% Cotton, 14% Polyester.

Avon True Colour BB 7-in-1 Nail Enamels - Lilac Love, Restoring Beige, Perfect Pink, Caring Creme

I have 4 super nail enamel shades from the Avon True Colour BB 7-in-1 collection to share with you today.

So what does BB stand for and what is the 7-in-1?

 Well, BB stands for Beauty Balm or Blemish Balm and is a product that claims to do the job of several other products and I’ve received confirmation directly from Avon that the benefits of the 7-in-1 are:

 1. Creamy flawless colour

2. Smooths and evens

3. Covers imperfections

4. Prevents discolouration

5. Protects

6. Primes

7. Fills ridges

 As well as all the above all Avon’s nail enamels are 5-Free (free of Formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, formaldehyde resin, and camphor).

Let’s crack on with the individual shades, first up Lilac Love, a pretty pastel shade

Next we have Restoring Beige, a creamy terracotta shade

Here we have Perfect Pink, a pretty delicate shade

And finally, Caring Creme, a very pale peach

Perfect Pink & Caring Creme are quite similar and both needed 3 coats, maybe that why they smooth and even, cover imperfections and fill ridges because I applied so many layers!
