Avon True Colour 'Pearl Shine' Nail Enamels - Sheer Lilac, Sheer Bronze, Sheer Love & Sheer Peach

Avon has a collection of 4 nail enamels under the Avon True Colour Range called ‘Pearl Shine’ which all have a shimmer finish. 

Left to right: Sheer Lilac, Sheer Peach, Sheer Love & Sheer Bronze

In case you were wondering what they looked like, read on and check out my video at the bottom which shows the 4 fab shades shimmering in the sunshine.

Sheer Lilac – a sheer fuchsia pink with iridescent shimmer

Sheer Bronze – this is full coverage and is more of a foil or chrome finish

Sheer Love – soft rose-pink shimmer

Sheer Peach – a delicate pale peach with a pearl lustre

Two coats applied, Lilac, Peach & Love are all sheer, the Bronze shade is opaque.

If you’re not into bright bold colours and want a hint of colour with lots of shimmer, these are the ones for you! Don’t forget to check out my video below to give a true representation of the shades.

I’ve been informed by Avon that all their nail enamels are 5-Free (free of Formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, formaldehyde resin, and camphor). 10ml bottle.

MILVart White Water Decals S339

I've received a lovely selection of water decals from MilvArt which I'll be reviewing and sharing with you.  I love water decals as you can create beautifully designed nails which are really easy to achieve.  For this mani, I'm using pattern number S339 which I applied over a pink and purple gradient base.  The decals come on a sheet approximately 6cm x 6cm and you can use as much or as little of the decal on your nails.  The decals are with a clear backing so you can see exactly where you are applying them over your painted nails.  I applied them to the whole of my nail area.  Check out my video demonstration below.
If you've not tried water decals before, give them a go, simply soak in a little water, remove from the backing paper, apply to your painted nails and seal with top coat - done!

Spring Flower full wrap water decals from Charlies Nail Art

Long warm sunny days are coming and I can't wait to get in the garden with all my colourful plants and flowers.  So while I'm waiting I'll adorn my nails with Spring Flower Nail Art Wraps from Charlies Nail Art.  The wraps are essentially water decals.  I applied the wraps over a cream base, it's not imperative to have a base colour, but I like to have them in case part of the wrap doesn't completely cover your nail.  You need to have some patience with the full wrap water decals, you need to allow them to dry and attach to your nail, so take time to apply them.  If you've not tried water decals before, give them a go, simply soak in a little water, remove from the backing paper, apply to your painted nails, trim and seal with top coat - done!

Avon Color Trend Lipstix - Nude Flash & Rose Kissed

I recently purchased 2 Avon Color Trend Lipstix when they were on offer at £1.75 each in C8 Outlet booklet.  Lipstick bullet samples aren’t available for any of the Color Trend range, so I was taking a bit of a chance on what the shades would be like but I knew I could return them if they weren’t suitable.   It would be great if Avon did lippy bullet samples for the Color Trend collection, do you agree?

The applicator tube is long and slim, the lip product is larger than a lip liner but smaller than a traditional lipstick.  I can’t find the size or weight of the product on the packaging or the applicator, therefore I'm not sure how much of the product is in the tube.  The Lipstix are non-retractable, which means once you’ve twisted the product up, you can’t twist it back down, otherwise I’d have twisted it full up to show you. If anyone knows how much product is within the tube, please share.

Onto the shades.  First up Nude Flash, a terracotta frosted shade

Rose Kissed is a matte medium tone pink

The shades lasted very well, I found the formulation a little tacky and dry, but that’s just an observation, not a criticism, I’d certainly buy again if the shade was right.

Avon Mark Gel Shine Nail Enamels - Moody & Head In Clouds

Here’s my latest swatches for a couple of Avon Mark Gel Shine Nails Enamels – Moody & Head In Clouds. 

Moody – a warm mink shade, classy and elegant.  Moody?  I’d say fantastically edgy!

 

Head In Clouds – a cool grey, if you’re not into pastels but want a light shade, this will be perfect.

 

Both super glossy, excellent pigmentation and easy to apply.
