Snowflake Nail Stickers from Sparkly Nails

If you love the snow but there's no chance of it where you live, however about whipping up a snow storm on your fingertips?!  A really quick, easy and mess free way to turn your plain mani into festive finger tips is to use nail stickers.  So here's a couple of my snowy manis using Snowflake White Nail Stickers from Sparkly Nails.  The stickers come on a clear plastic sheet so you can see how they'll look on your nail before applying them and the patterns include snowflakes, stars and snowballs.  I used the snowballs to make a Christmas Tree on my thumb.

smART Nails Snowman Nail Stencils P103

Today's festive mani is using Snowman nail stencils from smART Nails.  To create the Snowman is a 2 step process.  First you paint the Snowman body onto your nail and once completely dry apply the stencil on top to paint the hat, eyes, buttons etc.  Apply top coat once the stenciled patterns are completely dry to avoid smearing of the design.  I had a light bulb moment and created Christmas Trees from the Snowman body - hee hee!   There are 10 stencils per pack and I used just one stencil per hand.  Stencils are a great way to create nail art.   Simply peel off the stencil from the backing paper.  The stencil is transparent so you can see exactly where to place it on the nail.  Press onto your dry nail and make sure there are no air bubbles.  To reuse the stencil I put the painted stencil on the plastic packaging the stencils came in, wiped the polish off with nail polish remover and it was good to use again.

Glitter Christmas Nail Stickers from Charlies Nail Art

The Christmas manis continue and today I've got a couple of seasonal designs to show you using Glitter Christmas nail stickers from Charlies Nail Art.  So here are two manis I've created using the stickers.  The first one is with Mr Snowman and snowflake stickers teamed with snowflake stamping (MoYou Nails plate 127).  The second, a monochrome mani topped with holographic glitter and the stickers on top.  This goes to show you that the stickers can be used over light & dark coloured polish.  Nails don't have to be boring, they can be fun & creative and using the stickers are simple enough.  The Glitter Christmas nail stickers features 42 nail stickers in a range of sizes and designs. Holly & Berry Nail Stencils from smART Nails Stencils

Holly is a traditional and well know plant used around Christmas time, probably because of it's evergreen leaves.  Did you know that Holly comes in male & female varieties and only the female produces berries.  Here are my Holly & Berry nails using Christmas Ilex nail stencils from smART Nails.  There are 10 stencils per pack, you paint the leaves first, wait for them to dry then paint on the berries.  I applied top coat once the stenciled patterns were completely dry to avoid smearing of the design.  I'm really pleased with the way they turned out and I only used 2 of the 10 stencils per hand.  Stencils are a great way to create nail art.   Simply peel off the stencil from the backing paper.  The stencil is transparent so you can see exactly where to place it on the nail.  Press onto your dry nail and make sure there are no air bubbles.  To reuse the stencil I put the painted stencil on the plastic packaging the stencils came in, wiped the polish off with nail polish remover and it was good to use again.

Winter Wonderland Nail Water Decals from Sparkly Nails

We've had a relatively mild November in the UK and it's only started to turn cold in the last week which makes me feel more Christmassy....hold on....Christmas is one month away!  Eeek!! To get me in the Christmas spirit I've got a couple of snowflake and bauble manis to show you using Winter Wonderland water decals from Sparkly Nails.  The set includes frosty blue & white snowflakes and hanging baubles.  I first of all applied them over a chilly pale blue base (very Frozenesque!) and my second mani using a Christmas red shade.  As you can see they look great over either shade.  There are 20 decals in the pack.  If you've not tried water decals before, give them a go, simply soak in a little water, remove from the backing paper, apply to your painted nails and seal with top coat - done!
