The good thing about using stencils is that you can use them in more than one way. What I mean is that for today's mani, I've used the straight edge of two stencils to create a stripe down my nail and then, once the stripe has dried, re-applied the stencil on top of the stripe and painted on the diamonds. The diamond stencils are from smART Nails, they come in a pack of 10 and there are a growing number of different designs to choose from with new designs being introduced regularly. There are many ways to use these stencils, not just for the patterned stencil but also for creating french tips, diagonal strips and so on, be creative! Simply peel off the stencil from the backing paper. The stencil is transparent so you can see exactly where to place it on the nail. Press onto your dry nail and make sure there are no air bubbles. Apply your contrasting polish and immediate remove the stencil. Wait for the contrasting colour to dry and apply top coat.
