I saw a lovely mani on the smART Nails Facebook page with a matte base and a contrasting shimmer design on top, which got me thinking, I really want to do something similar. I'm not really a fan of matte nail polish but the combination with a shimmer polish is amazing. I had a look through my stash of stencils and decided the 'Splats' would work brilliantly. Over a black matte base I've added 'Splats' in silver, red, green, gold & pink - splatastic! I highly recommend smART Nails stencils, they are so quick & easy to use. The re-usable stencils come in a pack of 10 and there are a growing number of different designs to choose from with new designs being introduced weekly. Simply peel off the stencil from the backing paper. The stencil is transparent so you can see exactly where to place it on the nail. Press onto your dry nail and make sure there are no air bubbles. Apply your contrasting polish and immediate remove the stencil.
