Spring Flower full wrap water decals from Charlies Nail Art

Long warm sunny days are coming and I can't wait to get in the garden with all my colourful plants and flowers.  So while I'm waiting I'll adorn my nails with Spring Flower Nail Art Wraps from Charlies Nail Art.  The wraps are essentially water decals.  I applied the wraps over a cream base, it's not imperative to have a base colour, but I like to have them in case part of the wrap doesn't completely cover your nail.  You need to have some patience with the full wrap water decals, you need to allow them to dry and attach to your nail, so take time to apply them.  If you've not tried water decals before, give them a go, simply soak in a little water, remove from the backing paper, apply to your painted nails, trim and seal with top coat - done!

Blue Mermaid Nail Art Wrap from Charlies Nail Art

I'm bringing out the inner Mermaid in me today and my nails are decorated with Blue Mermaid Nail Art Wraps from Charlies Nail Art.  The wraps are essentially water decals.  I applied the wraps over a grey base, it's not imperative to have a base colour, but I like to have them in case part of the wrap doesn't completely cover your nail.  You need to have some patience with the full wrap water decals, you need to allow them to dry and attach to your nail, so take time to apply them.  If you've not tried water decals before, give them a go, simply soak in a little water, remove from the backing paper, apply to your painted nails, trim and seal with top coat - done!

Flower Nail Art Foil from Charlies Nail Art

Today's mani is using Flower Nail Art Foil from Charlies Nail Art.  The foil includes flowers in blue, greeen, pink & orange and there's also a few red berries.  The outline of some of the flowers and the leaves are holographic and I applied the nail foil over a nude base.

If you've not tried nail foils before they are easy to use.  Apply a special nail foil adhesive over your mani and wait for the glue to become transparent.  Then place the foil on top of your nail and gently rub with your finger, hoof stick or cotton bud and in seconds the design is transferred to your nail.  Apply top coat to seal and you're done!

Red Christmas Stocking Nail Decals from Charlies Nail Art

A Christmas stocking is an empty sock or sock-shaped bag that is hung on Christmas Eve so that Santa can fill it with small toys, candy, fruit, coins or other small gifts when he arrives.  They are also available as metallic nail charms from Charlies Nail Art.   I've teamed the red metallic stockings with stamped reindeer, mittens and holly (MoYou Nails Plate 407), over white topped with a golden shimmer.  I attached the Red Christmas Stocking Nail Decals while the top coat was still wet however nail glue will be a more secure option.

A bauble is a shiny or decorative ornamet or ball hung on a Christmas tree.   They are also available as metallic nail charms from Charlies Nail Art.   I've teamed the gold metallic baubles with stamped baubles (MoYou Nails Plate 452), over festive red and green base colours.  I attached the Gold Christmas Bauble Metallic Nail Decals while the top coat was still wet however nail glue will be a more secure option.

3D Nail Art Candy Cane Nail Charms from Charlies Nail Art

 A candy cane is a cane-shaped stick of sugar confectionery often associated with Christmastide.  It was given to children during nativity plays to remind them of the shepherds (a shepherd's crook) who visited Jesus at birth.  It is traditionally white with red stripes and flavoured with peppermint, but may also be a variety of other flavours and colours.
Which brings me to my mani, using 3D Candy Cane Nail Charms from Charlies Nail Art.  They come in a pack of 2, are flat backed and are reusable.  The red and white canes have a green bow with a sprinkling of glitter.  I attached the 3D Candy Cane Nail Charms while my top coat was still wet however nail glue will be a more secure option.

 Ho Ho Ho says Santa!  He'll be visiting us all real soon and I hope you've all been good!  He'll be working hard with his elves to put something nice in your stocking, so don't forget to leave out a cookie for him and a carrot for the reindeer!

This is the second of the two manis I created.  With traditional Christmas red nail polish topped with confetti glitter.

 

This is the first of my two manis, starting off with the traditional Christmas red nail polish and gold polish underneath the Santas.  However I felt my mani needed a bit of bling, after all, it is for Christmas.
