Born Pretty Store Holographic Top Coat - Portrait of a Lady

Today I'm sharing with you an amazing holographic top coat from Born Pretty Store called Portrait of a Lady.  The holographic particles, which include bar shaped glitter, sit in a clear polish, which means you can apply it over any colour to dazzle up your nails. 
I applied one generous coat over a dark grey base colour and sealed with top coat.  In the sunshine the holographic particles are mesmerising.
Comes in a dinky 6ml bottle.

Avon Mark Gel Shine Nail Enamels - Wild & Bitten, Cinders & Ash, Into The Dark, Cast A Shadow

Here are four brand new shades from Avon's Mark Gel Shine range.   A collection of rich dark vampy colours, perfect for the winter months.

Wild & Bitten is the darkest black cherry red I've ever seen, it almost looks black

Cinders & Ash is a cool gunmetal grey

Into the Dark is a dark inky blue, almost touching purple.  My camera flash has made the photo on the left look Royal blue, but it's deffo more navy.

Cast A Shadow - probably my fave of all four, a soft deep taupe grey

Avon True Colour Nail Enamel - Copper Gleam

Metallic makeup and nails are bang on trend, with shimmer, sparkle and chrome like finish.  So let's rock this galactic look with a far-out shade from Avon called Copper Gleam.

Prosecco Holographic Chunky Nail Glitter from Sparkly Nails

Time for a bit of sparkle!  The base colour is a new shade from Avon's Mark Gel Shine Range called 'Cast A Shadow', which I've blinged up with Prosecco Holographic Chunky Nail Glitter from Sparkly Nails.  I applied the glitter while my nail polish was just set, I lightly pressed the glitter onto my nails and sealed with top coat. 
The Prosecco Holographic Chunky Nail Glitter comes in a 5 gram bag and will do a ton of manis.

Avon Mark Cosmic Lights Nail Enamels - Warm Slick, Cool Slick, Oil Slick, Magic Slick

Making their debut in Campaign 16, four shimmery cosmic shades from the Avon Mark Nail Style Studio range.  The Cosmic Lights collection includes a pinky bronze (Warm Slick), a bluey purple (Cool Slick), a peacock green (Oil Slick) and a pinky magenta (Magic Slick).
 The formulation is a little sheer, I applied 4 coats for full coverage, next time I'll try applying them over a matching plain base colour to reduce so many coats.
In the sunshine they sparkle like mad and are truly cosmic!

Avon Color Trend Lipsticks - Matte, Glossy & Classic

A change from nail polish, this post is all about Avon Color Trend Lipsticks!
Color Trend is Avon's budget-friendly range.  Bullet lipstick samples aren't available in the Color Trend range, so when the Glossy & Classic shades were on special offer of buy 1 get 2 free, I bought them all, plus the 4 matte shades too.  They worked out at £1.25 each - bargain!
Check out my 3 videos below for each of the different collections.  I'm really impressed with the Matte lipstick, very well pigmented and great colours.  The Glossy set is not as bright on your lips as they appear in the stick and have a lovely smooth glossy feel.  The Classic set is a very decent collection of shades and applies very well.

Today's mani is a sophisticated white pearl with gold shimmer.  It's called Moonsky Glow and is from the Pearl In Lotus collection from Born Pretty Store.  It's a very soft and pretty shade.
I applied 2 coats plus top coat, in the sunshine the gold shimmer is enchanting.
