Blue Roses Nail Art Water Decals from Lady Queen

PRESS SAMPLE
A slightly unusual and striking mani today.  Yesterday evening as the sun was setting the clouds turned a peachy pink, it only lasted 20 minutes before the sun disappeared but it was oh so pretty, and that's the inspiration for my pinky peach sponged based.  On top I've placed some cool Blue Rose Water Decals from Lady Queen.  A contrasting combo, the blue & white roses really pop from the smouldering coloured base.  There are 24 decals in the pack, 12 blue roses and 12 purple roses.  So whether you want to use the decals on all your nails or just as an accent there are plenty for at least 2 manis.
If you've not tried water decals before, give them a go, simply soak in a little water, remove from the backing paper, apply to your painted nails and seal with top coat - done!
If you like water decals or want to get into water decals more, check out the Facebook group I've just created called Wonderful Water Decals. To the pics!!!!

The pack contains 24 Rose decals, 12 each in purple and blue

Born Pretty Store Colour Changing Nail Polish - Yellow to Orange

Here's an interesting nail polish from Born Pretty Store which changes colour depending on the temperature.  In the bottle it looks a very pale peach, when warm it turns yellow and when cold it turns orange.  When applied to your nails the tips appear darker (orange) because they are cooler than the polish nearer to the nail bed.  I applied 3 coats and top coat of the Colour Changing Polish, see my video below where I run my nails under hot and cold water and the nail polish colour immediately changes.  There are other colours available at Born Pretty Store and comes in a 6ml bottle.  To the pics.....
Below - Yellow when warm
Below - normal body temperature slighly darker at the tips where it's coolest
Below - Orange when cold
Hot versus Cold
The 6ml Colour Changing Polish is currently $8.25 / £5.80 / €7.50.  You can also use my 10% discount code HXBQ10 which gets you 10% off full priced items. Check out the Born Pretty Store  website for loads of cool nail art goodies too!

Dandelion Nail Art Water Decals from Born Pretty Store

PRESS SAMPLE
Do you remember as a kid being able to tell the time by blowing the seeds off a dandelion, each puff equalling 1 hour, one puff 1 o'clock, 2 puffs 2 o'clock and so on.  And hands up all those that took such deep breaths between each puff and inhaled the frothy seed heads - yep, that's me waving my hand up high.  If you did that once you never did it again! Oh the innocence of it all.  Now as an adult and keen gardener I try to make sure I remove dandelions before they set seed and make more weeds! Anyhoo, there's something quite charming blowing on the dandelion seed head, making a wish and watching the little fairy like seeds float around in the air.
Today's mani is using Dandelion Water Decals from Born Pretty Store.
If you've not tried water decals before, give them a go, simply soak in a little water, remove from the backing paper, apply to your painted nails and seal with top coat - done!  Check out my video below for a demonstration.
If you like water decals or want to get into water decals more, check out the Facebook group I've just created called Wonderful Water Decals. To the pics!!!!

A Poinsettia isn't just for Christmas, no it's for all year round with these fab water decals from Sparkly Nails.  A little fact about this popular Christmas indoor plant, you might think the showy coloured parts of Poinsettias are the flowers but they are actually coloured bracts (modified leaves). Silver tone 3D Gothic Crosses from Charlies Nail Art

PRESS SAMPLE
Here's a couple of my manis using 3D Nail Art Gothic Crosses from  Charlies Nail Art.  Now I googled styles of crosses and as you can image there are lots of different types & styles all with their own story.  This style is a Patonce Cross.
The Patonce Cross is any form of cross which has expanded ends, but with each arm terminating in floriated points like the Fleury Cross and Fleur-de-lis Cross. Sometimes there are two petals at the end of each arm, but usually three.  In heraldry, the three petals represent faith, wisdom and chivalry. The four arms spread these to the four corners of the world.  As a Christian Cross, the three petals represent the Trinity and the total twelve petals represent the Apostles.
So here are my manis using the 3D Patonce Crosses.  On the left is a deep red base (OPI Malaga Wine) topped with sparse silver glitter and on the left a dark green water marble combo.  How would you wear them?  There are 4 crosses per pack and have a curved flat back which fit snug to your nail.  I applied them while my top coat was still wet however nail glue might be a more secure option.
Fancy a cheeky 10% discount?  Use WDB10 at checkout!
