If you've not tried water decals before, give them a go, simply soak in a little water, remove from the backing paper, apply to your painted nails and seal with top coat - done!

Avon Nailwear Pro+ Starburst

This is Starburst from the Avon Nailwear Pro+ range.  A cheeky raspberry shade. This is two coats however I think I could have done with a 3rd as you can see my nail line enhanced by the camera flash but isn't as noticeable in real life.  I got this luscious pink beauty from Avon Brochure 1, 2017 as a set of 3 with Galaxy & Midnight for £6 - that's £2 a bottle!!  Also included was a gold pattern card gift pouch, although the present was to myself I can use the pouch for someone else.  December is my birthday month so I received a free delivery code from Avon, so I really had no reason why not to get this stellar collection.  Nice formulation, a tad on the sheer side, I applied 2 coats which is sufficient but 3 would have been better.  I'm not an Avon Rep and have no affiliation with them what so ever, I just want to share this lovely berry pink polish with you.  See my review for Midnight here. 10ml bottle.

W7 Cosmetics - Cheeky Chaps Multi Blush, Lipstick & Brow Pencil

Happy New Year to you all!  Now the Christmas & New Year festivities are over for most of us, let's getting talking about cosmetics - yay!  I've got 3 W7 make-up products to share with you, a multi colour blusher, lipstick and brow pencil, check out my YouTube video at the bottom.

First up - Cheeky Chaps Multi Blush - Shade Pick n Mix £5.95

The 10g palette contains 6 shimmer peach tones.  The shades mix beautifully and applied like a dream.  This shade is perfect for me and I love using it.  A decent size palette which will last for ages.

 
Lipstick - Coconut Ice £3.50
The pale pink shimmer lipstick reminds me of 1960's lipstick shade, a little too light for me, none the less it applied very well
 
Super Brows Eyebrow Pencil & Brush - Blonde £3.95
I'm not naturally blonde but do have high lights.  I've never used a brow pencil before so I was very intrigued with this product and I'm so glad I tried it, it's a keeper!  I drew on strokes and brushed with the brush, easy peasy and great results.  The brows stayed on all night.  I wouldn't have picked blonde but my brows are fine so it was perfect.  The brow pencil is the best discovery for me.

Born Pretty Store Nail Art Stamping Round & Rectangular Plate Holder Set

I'm getting a fairly healthy stash of stamping plates, however, they are all crammed into one box and in no order which makes it difficult to choose the plate I want.  So I finally got some stamping plate holders from Born Pretty Store.  The holders can be bought individually or as a set of 2, one is for large rectangular plates and one for small round plates.  The outer covers are bright Barbie pink.  The large rectangular holder has 20 sleeves which can hold up to 40 plates if putting 2 plates back to back in each sleeve.  The small round holder has 10 sleeves and holds up to 20 plates.  They fasten with a silver tone popper and the strap is long enough to accommodate the holders being completely full.  Now I can organise my stamping plates and easily see which one I want, giving me more time for stamping.

Size: Rectangular: large enough to hold BP-L plates with size of 12.5cmx 6.5cm, and according to the Born Pretty Store website it can also hold plates from brands such as MoYou London or Bundle monster or any brand that does not exceed the measurements above.

Round: large enough to hold plates with size of 5.5cm, such as the Born Pretty round plates

Holographic Nails - Holographic Pigment from Nicole Diary

I have the most amazing holographic nails to show you using pigment powders from Nicole Diary.  I've been in awe of YouTube demonstrations showing the pigment applied to cured gel nails.  I don't often wear gel polish, preferring regular nail polish as I change my nail colour daily.  However when Nicole Diary asked me if I'd like to try the holographic pigment I jumped at the chance.  I already had a gel base coat and purchased a no wipe top coat from Ebay for a few quid.
First I applied a peel off base coat for easy removal of the gel polish.  I then painted and cured a clear gel base coat, painted regular black nail polish, applied and cured a no wipe gel top coat and then the fun began.  The 1g pot of holo pigment comes with a sponge applicator, I used a very small amount using the sponge applicator and rubbed onto my nails.  The holographic magic took seconds to appear, truly amazing and mesmerising.  I applied another layer of gel top coat to seal in the holographic pigment.  And unlike holographic nail polish where the holo usually only appears under bright light or sunshine, the holo pigment can be seen regardless of how light it is.  I can't stop looking at my nails, I love the effect and it was much easier and more impressive than I imagined.
The holographic pigment can be used over any colour, I used a black base, check out my video demonstration further down.
