Today's shades of grey mani is combined using elegant black & white rose nail stickers from Born Pretty Store.  There are 27 stickers which include black and white roses edged in gold and filigree designs.  The stickers are on a clear backing sheet which is really handy because you can hold the decal over your nail to see how it will look before applying. Simply peel the decal from the backing sheet, press onto your nail and seal with top coat.  I didn't use top coat and they stuck surprisingly well!  They will look great over lots of colours, next time I'll try them over a red base.

Polka Dot Nail Foil & Nail Studs from Charlies Nail Art

Today I'm dotty, spotty & potty with some gorgeous nail art items from Charlies Nail Art.  Two fun polka dot manis using pink Polka Dot Nail Foil & colourful studs.  The neon pink polka dots take on different colour depending on your base colour, for example over white or pink they'll look pink, over blue they look purple and over yellow they take on a red hue.
My mani on the left is a pastel ombre base of yellow, peach, pink, lilac & mint green with the neon pink polka dots having slightly different shades because of the different coloured base.
My mani on the right is colour co-ordinated with studs also from Charlies Nail Art.

If you've not tried nail foils before they are a easy to use.  Apply a special nail foil adhesive over your mani and wait for the glue to become transparent.  Then place the foil on top of your nail and gently rub with your finger, hoof stick or cotton bud and in seconds the design is transferred to your nail.  Apply top coat to seal and you're done!

smART Nails Stencils - Chain - P094

The stencils I'm using today from smART Nails are called Chain - Design Number P094 using a bright pink base and matte black for the chains.  There are 10 stencils per pack and you can reuse each one a few times.  Stencils are a great way to create nail art.   Simply peel off the stencil from the backing paper.  The stencil is transparent so you can see exactly where to place it on the nail.  Press onto your dry nail and make sure there are no air bubbles.  Seal with top coat once the stencilled polish is completely dry to avoid smearing. To reuse the stencil I put the painted stencil on the plastic packaging the stencils came in, wiped the polish off with nail polish remover and it was good to use again.
I highly recommend these stencils because they are easy, effective, fun, inexpensive and a great way to decorate you nails.  Check out my video demonstration below.
