I do love a shimmer polish and today's mani is no exception - let me introduce...drum roll....'Too Hot To' from Jacava London.  A super deep red velvety shimmer, sumptuous, vampy, elegant and schexy!  A lovely Christmas red and a great shade for toes.  This is two coats with top coat, the polish is a dream to apply and made even easier with the long slim cap.  And have you checked out their Woodlanders AW15 collection, a super assortment of 17 lush shades which include blues, greys, greens, muted purples, deep reds, a gold and a peach?  They're all lush!

Bewitched Water Decals from Sparkly Nails

Boo!  It's October which means....HALLOWEEN!!  Halloween is so different from when I was a kid, yeah sure we did apple bobbing, with adults carving a very basic scary pumpkin which was left outside and the candle always blew out so you never saw it!  And being told ghost stories which left me so petrified I couldn't wait for it to be over.  Now Halloween is much more of a fun and dressing up kind of event.  Kiddies costumes are great but you don't have to be a kid to dress up and that includes decorating your nails!  Here's a Halli Mani of mine using Bewitched water decals from Sparkly Nails which I applied over a light blue and black gradient.  I doubled up on my thumb and little finger.  I absolutely love water decals as they give excellent results with little mess.  There are 20 decals in the pack.  If you've not tried water decals before, give them a go, simply soak in a little water, remove from the backing paper, apply to your painted nails and seal with top coat - done!

Born Pretty Store Holographic Nail Foil

Born Pretty Store have a new range of Holographic Nail Foils which give a subtle glint of magic to your nails when the light bounces off them.  I've applied them over dark and light nail polish, with and without using a camera flash.  Foils are such a great way to decorate your nails and give stunning results, there are lots of different foils to choose from.  Apply the special nail adhesive over your dry painted nails and wait for the glue to become transparent.  Then place the foil on top of your nail and gently rub with your finger, hoof stick or cotton bud and in seconds the design is transferred to your nail.  Apply top coat to seal and you're done!  Check out my video demonstration below.

Every now and again I have a little splurge from the Avon Brochure, especially the sale leaflet - who doesn't love a bargain especially when it's nail polish right?  So last month I bought this beaut for £1.50 - what?? Yep £1.50 and it's in the current Avon Sale Brochure for 99p.  I'm not an Avon Rep and have no affiliation with them what so ever, I just want to share this gorgeous navy blue shimmer nail polish with you and if you like it I suggest you go get it for 99p!  So without further ado I give you Avon Nailwear Pro+ Lavished Blue.  10ml bottle, fab brush and this is just one coat for speed however I would recommend two coats for durability.
