Born Pretty Store Pear Cut Clear Rhinestone Silver Plated Ring

I'm really loving the recently listed fine costume jewelry from Born Pretty Store.  This is the 3rd of my recent gem stone ring purchases (I've still got one more to do and there's another on the way!).  I wouldn't keep buying them if I didn't like them and I think they are absolutely stunning!  They could easily be mistaken for fine jewelry, they sparkly like mad in the sunshine, are very comfortable to wear.  It means I can wear a lovely ring without anyone really knowing how much it cost!  This ring comes in 2 sizes which I had to look up on an international size converter, however the size I ordered fits perfectly (size 7 = UK size O).  The ring is described as silver plated but I can't guarantee that.   The shoulder of the ring and the halo is encrusted with clear rhinestones.  Available in 2 colours white (clear) and yellow.  Very pretty and very sparkly.  Check out my video and photos below, for the money I think it's pretty amazing!

Nails Inc St James Square

My latest Ebay purchase, Nails Inc St James Square a muted dusky pastel sky blue.  Three coats without top coat.  I don't know the origins of the polish, ie if it was from a QVC set etc so if you know please let me know so I can update my post.  Not much more to say about this gorgeous polish, if you like your light blues you're gonna love and want this one!

Born Pretty Store Pink Flower Filigree Water Decals

Today's mani is a sky blue and silver gradient embellished with Pink Flower Filigree Water Decals from Born Pretty Store.  There are 15 water decals in the pack of gorgeous pretty pink flowers and filigree swirls.  Next time I use them I'll apply over a pale creme polish so the decals photograph better.  In real life the decals are very clear but in my photos the camera flash bounces off the silver polish, washing out the decal.  Never mind, always learning!

If you've not tried water decals before, give them a go, simply soak in a little water, remove from the backing paper, apply to your painted nails and seal with top coat - done!  Check out my video below for a demonstration.

Nails Inc Old Queen Street is an oldie but a goodie.  I do love a shimmer polish, and this is an ivory with gold shimmer, it reminds me of an oyster lustre.  Perfectly subtle, simple yet elegant.  This baby took 3 coats on my ridged nails.  And I can't remember where I got this beauty from, it was either Ebay or a lucky dip from Nails Inc - lucky me!  If you like your whites I think you'll like this in your colletion.

Yesterday's cream mani has been souped-up with some blue & lilac polish and chevron vinyls/stencils.  I used 2 of the stencils together on my thumb, index & middle nails to create a deep chevron.  For my ring nail I put the stencils point to point to create a cross, and used single vinyls on my pinky.  And I'm sure I can think of more ways to use them to decorate my nails.  The Chevron Vinyl nail stencils are from Sparkly Nails and they have a neat selection of vinyl packs in squiggle, spike, stripe, zig zag and more so go check them out.  There are 54 Chevron vinyls per pack and at only £1.25 are a bargain.

Nails Inc Upper Street

This is the original Nails Inc Upper Street, a teal creme not the latest Pop Art effect, which actually would look good over the top of this.  I must have got it from Ebay as it's one of the old style bottles with the hands around it.  It was a little thin so this is three coats.  It was actually quite glossy without top coat but I've applied Seche Vite.  It's a lovely colour and if you're into your greens/teals/turquoises you must try it.  To the pics!........

Born Pretty Store Cocktail Ring

Here's the second of my costume jewelry rings from Born Pretty Store and I'm just as delighted with this ring as the first - see my previous post here.   The ring has a silver tone band with an orange oval centred stone surrounded by clear rhinestones.  It's called orange but I would call it champagne.  It's very pretty, very sparkly in the sunshine and certain lighting, comfortable to wear and I can't stop admiring it on my finger....oh and I forgot to mention.....it's incredibly cheap!  It looks a lot more expensive than it is, and I'm really pleased with it, I'm wearing it and looking at it now as I'm writing this post.  The ring comes in 4 colours - orange, red, blue & clear (called white).  This ring comes in 2 sizes which I had to look up on an international size converter, however the size I ordered fits perfectly (size 7 = UK size O).  The ring is described as silver plated but I can't guarantee that.   Lovely delicate cocktail ring which I'm so pleased with I've gone an ordered another ring from Born Pretty Store.  Check out my video and photos below, for the money I think it's pretty amazing!

This Strawberry Shortcake Nail Foil from Born Pretty Store has a clear background with various images of Strawberry Shortcake character and delicious red and pink strawberries, all edged with a silver outline.  Because of the clear back ground these will look great over lots of different base colours.   Foils are such a great way to decorate your nails and give stunning results, there are lots of different foils to choose from.  Apply the special nail adhesive over your dry painted nails and wait for the glue to become transparent.  Then place the foil on top of your nail and gently rub with your finger, hoof stick or cotton bud and in seconds the design is transferred to your nail.  Apply top coat to seal and you're done!  Check out my video demonstration below.
