This Strawberry Shortcake Nail Foil from Born Pretty Store has a clear background with various images of Strawberry Shortcake character and delicious red and pink strawberries, all edged with a silver outline.  Because of the clear back ground these will look great over lots of different base colours.   Foils are such a great way to decorate your nails and give stunning results, there are lots of different foils to choose from.  Apply the special nail adhesive over your dry painted nails and wait for the glue to become transparent.  Then place the foil on top of your nail and gently rub with your finger, hoof stick or cotton bud and in seconds the design is transferred to your nail.  Apply top coat to seal and you're done!  Check out my video demonstration below.

Chilli Blaze by Nella Milano is a cool, beautiful, vibrant orange.  Wonderfully bright and fantastic colour for tans and toes!   Chilli Blaze is from the Four Seasons collection, a selection of green, yellow and orange colours.  The formulation of Nella Milano lacquers are superb, I can't praise them enough, here I've applied 2 coats with top coat.  Please check out my other posts on Nella Milano Nail Lacquers, the colours are gorgeous and they're great for water marbling too.  Excellent size 12ml bottle, great brush and slim cap.

Born Pretty Store BB Cream - 45ml SPF 30

I'm a tad confused with the difference between a BB Cream, a CC Cream and good old fashioned foundation.  I do know that BB stands for Beauty Balm and encompasses a foundation, moisturiser & sun screen all in one.  So here's my own personal review on my very first BB Cream which is from Born Pretty Store.  There are 3 shades available and I went for #2 the middle option.  The colour of the product is lighter than I'd usually wear but actually it really compliments my skin tone which is medium with freckles, so maybe I've been using the wrong colour all along!  I also find with my previous foundations that they make my lines look worse/deeper but because of the hydration of the BB Cream my skin looked less wrinkly.   I'm very pleasantly surprised with the BB Cream as I thought it wouldn't be robust enough but I was wrong.  It's hydrating, gives great coverage, applies easily and I haven't observed any adverse reaction to it, so it gets the thumbs up from me.  The box claims to be SPF 30 and it comes in a 45ml tube.  the only downside is that the only English writing is on the front of the tube, the packet and instructions inside the package are in Chinese or Korean.  Check out my YouTube video below.

Born Pretty Store Double Butterfly Orange Gem Stone Silver Ring

Born Pretty Store have recently listed fine jewellery style rings which instantly caught my magpie eye!  They're very inexpensive, come in a range of colours, designs and sizes, so I decided to go for it and treat myself to a couple and oh boy I'm so glad I did!  I was worried that they would look like something out of a Christmas Cracker however I'm very pleasantly surprised.  This ring comes in 2 sizes which I had to look up on an international size converter, however the size I ordered fits perfectly (size 7 = UK size O).  The ring is described as silver plated but I can't guarantee that.   The shoulder of the ring has butterflies encrusted with clear gems and the centre has an oval orange gem stone much like a Citrine.  Very pretty and very sparkly.  Lovely delicate cocktail ring which I'm so pleased with I've gone an ordered another ring from Born Pretty Store.  Check out my video and photos below, for the money I think it's pretty amazing!

Hello everyone!  I've got a couple of manis I've been rocking using Mixed Pearly Gems  from Charlies Nail Art.  Two quite different manis, one is colour co-ordinated pastel nails to compliment the gems, the other using water marble and black polish to enhance the Pearly Gems.  So whether you want to be soft and delicate or bold and decadent you can have it both ways, simple yet effective!  How would you wear them?  There are approx 100 Mixed Pearly Gems per pack in 4 colours, white, pink, lilac and baby blue.  Two sizes available 3mm & 4mm, they have a flat back and I applied them while my top coat was still wet.

Dry Water Marbling using Nella Milano Nail Lacquers

Since discovering dry water marbling I'm loving the whole water marble thing.  And because I've found that Nella Milano nail lacquers marble perfectly and I have a lot of them so double yee-haw!  You can see my previous post here on dry water marbling.  I simply love the whole experience from choosing the colours, to watching the bullseye spreading and building up in the water, drawing the pattern and applying to my nails, I'm obsessed.  So here's a couple recently done, one using the flower pattern and the other with zigzag strokes.  To the pics.....

I'm still practising and enjoying every bit of it.
