Today's mani is a bit of everything, water marbling, water decals and dots to create my magical mystical unicorn design.  First of all I applied my pre-made dried water marble of pink, peach & white.  Then I topped with Unicorn water decals from YRNails, then added pastel coloured dots using dotting tools also from YRNails.  YRNails have a huge range of water decals which they manufacture in the UK.  They also supply their own brand of nail polish which are 5 free and come in 10ml bottles with very good brushes.

Today is all about neutral nails which I think gives a well groomed look.  Plain, simple & chic.  It's also a great base for toppers, stamping, decals etc (it's all about the base - hee hee!)  Here's another of my Sweet Color nail polishes from Born Pretty Store, the shade number is S340.  I've applied 3 coats of the latte coloured polish to build up the colour, 1 coat would be an excellent base for a French mani.  Lovely polish which applied easily, has a good brush, nice slim cap and decent size 12ml bottle.

Fluorescent bow nails are the mani for today using these cute stencils from smART Nails.  The bright yellow fluorescent polish is an added touch to this nail design, lighting up the bows in UV light.   They come in a pack of 10 and there are a growing number of different designs to choose from with new designs being introduced regularly.  Simply peel off the stencil from the backing paper.  The stencil is transparent so you can see exactly where to place it on the nail.  Press onto your dry nail and make sure there are no air bubbles.  Apply your contrasting polish and immediate remove the stencil.  Wait for the contrasting colour to dry and apply top coat.

Bohem Nail Jewellery - Dragon Filigree Silver Nail Tip

I've previously blogged about my Bohem gold nail tip, today it's the turn of the silver tip.  Bohem nail tips are made of 100% real silver (925 sterling silver to be more exact), are hallmarked and they have cool designs on their website.  This silver filigree tip is called Dragon. The tips are so easy to apply with special sticky tabs and you get 12 tabs with each reusable tip. The adhesive should last up to 3 days, I removed mine after one day so can't confirm the longevity.  You also get a silver polishing cleaning cloth to keep your tip in glorious pristine condition.

Born Pretty Store Black Faux Leather Stretch Leggings

I've got tons of nail art goodies from Born Pretty Store and every now and again I treat myself to some clothing, jewellery, cosmetics or accessories.  I'm always wary about buying things online especially if you're concerned you won't be able to return them.  That's why I like Born Pretty Store as they allow their customers to upload their photos and videos of their purchases so you can see exactly what they look like.  I'm sharing with you my Black Faux Leather Leggings which I purchased myself.  There's only one size available, I'm a UK size 12/14, they fit fine on the legs however the body was a bit short for me but I am long in the body.  Other people who have left reviews have said how long the leggings are in the body and they have to roll them over, so it really just depends on your body shape.  The leggings have two textures/effects.  The front are the faux leather effect, to me they are a shiny wet look.  The back of the leggings are plain jersey knit.  I don't know what the material composition is as there isn't a label.  They are very stretchy and good quality, not at all thin, however they do ripple at the seems and I might add an elastic stirrup to pull the legs down to keep them taut.  So I'm pretty pleased with them for the price.  I've taken a few photos and made a video so you can see them for  yourself.

Flower Pattern Bows from Charlies Nail Art

A couple of cutesy girly manis today using bow-diddly-dacious flowered bows from Charlies Nail Art.  The first mani is a red and white reversed effect using Konad stamp M73, since getting my squishy stamper I could stamp for England.  The second mani combining a milky glitter (Innis Free 85) and contrasting baby blue which picks out the blue in the bows.  There are 10 3D flower pattern bows in the pack and they have a flat back and a clear gem in the middle.  I applied them while my top coat was wet, you can also use nail glue to adhere them.  Pretty nails embellished with cute bows - have fun with your manis!
