Musical Mani with 3D Pianos from Charlies Nail Art

Music is an art form whose medium is sound. Its common elements are pitch (which governs melody and harmony), rhythm (and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation), dynamics, and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture. The word derives from Greek μουσική (mousike; "art of the Muses").  And there's me thinking it was a track off one of Madonna's Albums!  Here's a fun musical mani today using Konad stamping plate M73 and 3D Pianos from Charlies Nail Art.  There are 10 3D grand pianos in the pack and they have a flat back.  I applied them while my top coat was wet, you can also use nail glue to adhere them.  Whether you're creating, playing or listing to Music, it's all around us, including our nails - have fun with your manis!

Sparkly Nails Fat Stripes Vinyl Nail Stencils

All Things Bee-right & Bee-autiful all creatures great and small!! Bees are known for their role in pollination and for producing honey and beeswax and I love seeing them in the garden in their furry stripy jackets buzzing around the flowers.  So check out the cheeky chaps on my nails using Fat Stripe Vinyls from Sparkly Nails.  I've applied them over a bright yellow base, painted the black stripes and added the eyes.  There are just over 50 fat stripe vinyls per pack and at only £1.25 are a bargain. Check out my little step by step tutorial below.

All That Jazz Nail Lacquer - Catherine's Canary Fairy

Catherine's Canary Fairy is a unique lacquer from All That Jazz and is exactly as you would image a canary fairy would be - yellow for the canary and an iridescent yellow/green shimmer for the fairy.  This is 3 coats on my nails with top coat and as the formulation is a little sheer it's a great topper.  I've tried it over black & red and it gives an alternative look to a plain base.  It comes in a big 15ml bottle and is available from the All That Jazz website which has an awesome range of lacquers in different finishes (all 5-free and cruelty free) as well as manicure & pedicure products which include Bee Bars in mouth watering scents.

Bohem Nail Jewellery - Gothic Diamond Gold Nail Tip

I have some pretty cool precious metal nail tips to show you from Bohem.  Precious?  Because they are made of real silver (925 sterling silver to be more exact) and are hallmarked, how very posh & decadent!  The tips are so easy to apply with special sticky tabs and you get 12 tabs with each reusable tip.  The adhesive should last up to 3 days, I removed mine after one day so can't confirm the longevity.  You also get a silver polishing cleaning cloth to keep your tip in glorious pristine condition.

Here's a couple of my manis using a gold tone tip 'Gothic Diamond' which unfortunately is no longer available on their website (I've seen the silver tone on Amazon) however it gives you an idea of the stunning effect.  Quick get the body guards, I feel very special with my precious metal nail tip!

Avon Metallic Effect Nail Enamel - Arctic Steel

I missed out on the Models Own half price offer when they launched their chrome collection - yeah I must have been  under a rock!  So when I received an out of the blue email from my Avon lady with her online brochure, I had a little sneaky peak and there I saw Avon Metallics in the sale brochure for £1.75.  So Arctic Steel Metallic Effect Nail Enamel popped into my basket along with some bubbly bath.  Now I wish I'd bought all the shades!  Super dooper icy blue metallic effect and jolly fab for stamping too!   The Avon Lady only came an hour ago, it's on, stamped, photo'd and blogged!  12 ml bottle.

Opportunity Knocks is a stunning turquoise shimmer which sparkles in the sunshine and under certain lighting.  It reminds me of Quality Street sweet wrappers, in a nice way of course, a coloured cellophane wrapped around a foil.  My camera appears to make the colour of the lacquer blue when it's actually a deep turquoise - tantalising and glistening.  This is 3 coats on my nails and top coat, seriously gorgeous.  It comes in a huge 15ml bottle and is available on the All That Jazz website which has an awesome range of lacquers in different finishes (all 5-free and cruelty free) as well as manicure & pedicure products which include Bee Bars in mouth watering scents.

3D Bunnies from Charlies Nail Art

The Easter Bunny is a folkloric figure and symbol of Easter, depicted as a rabbit bringing Easter eggs. The "Easter Hare" originally played the role of a judge, evaluating whether children were good or disobedient in behaviour at the start of the season of Eastertide.  In legend, the creature carries coloured eggs in his basket, confectionary, and sometimes also toys to the homes of children, and as such shows similarities to Santa Claus, as they both bring gifts to children on the night before their respective holidays.  Thank you Wiki for the info!  Here's a couple more Easter themed manis using 3D Bunnies from Charlies Nail Art.  Whether you celebrate Easter or just love rabbits, these silver tone bunnies are sure to get your mani noticed.  The 10 bunnies are flat backed which I applied with wet top coat and are re-usable.
