OMG, I have the most amazing liquid sand textured nail polish set from Born Pretty Store.  This set from their Tribal range and you get 4 x 6ml polishes.  They are fantastic value, four textured polishes for just over £3 - bonkers!  And the colours are wonderful.  I have on two coats with top coat, I like the way the top coat brings out the glitter/sparkle in the polishes.  Good quality polishes, they painted on a dream, I think they are really fantastic and I've already recommended them and one of my Facebook chums has bought 2 sets!

Hi Guys!  I have an absolute gem of a glitter nail polish Born Pretty Store.  This is from their Sweet Color Candy Nail Polish range and is number S108.  The polish has a sheer green base and is jam packed with green & gold glitter, fine glitter and larger hex glitter.  If you like green polish and you like glitter you are going to LOVE this polish!  My nails look they they are encrusted with peridot gems - hee hee!  As with all the polishes in the Sweet Color range it's a beautiful polish, easy to apply, great formulation and nice brush which makes it so easy to apply.

Hello all!  OMG my newest nail polish is absolutely gorgeous and it's from Born Pretty Store.  This is from their Sweet Color Candy Nail Polish range and is number S048.  A stunning royal blue with a lighter blue shimmer running through it.  A beautiful polish, easy to apply, great formulation and nice brush which makes it so easy to apply.  The contrasting shimmer is the icing on the cake, it's a real winner!

I created a bit of a stir when I blogged about the fan-tab-u-lous Avon Opal Top Coat over a black polish.  So I thought I'd have a complete contrast mani and try the Avon Opal top coat over the elegant Avon Nail Pro+ Nail Enamel "Star".  I entered an Avon Facebook competition last year and I won a runners up prize of the sophisticated "Star" which is delicate pearl cream - gorgeous. Topped with the NEW Avon Opal top coat and my mani takes on a winter wonderland feel - beautiful!  To the pics.....first up the sophisticated "Star"......

Greetings everyone!  I have another gorgeous glitter nail polish to show you from Born Pretty Store.  This is from their Sweet Color Glitter Shimmer range and is number S113.  A coppery rose gold glitter, not a yellow glitter.  A real stunner, this polish is jam packed with glitter, two coats and you have full coverage without the need of a base colour.  The polish has fine gold glitter and larger hex glitter and when the sunshine or light bounces on it you can see green & orange sparkle - pretty cool huh?

Avon Opal Top Coat

This beauty landed this week and wow, what a stunner.  I saw the Avon Opal Top Coat on a Facebook page but I didn't have an Avon rep, so I headed on over to the Avon UK website.  I searched for a local Avon rep, you put in your postcode and a list of local reps comes up, you choose your rep and some of them have a link to their online brochure - result!  I browsed the online brochure in the comfort of my home, chose my rep who lives a few streets away, placed my order online and waited for it to arrive.  All very easy & simple.  I don't have any top coats like this so I'm pretty impressed with the results.  It's a clear polish with iridescent flakes inside, I applied 2 coats over black polish and the effect is amazing.  You really need to see it in real life to experience the colourful flashes.  Reminds me of a kaleidoscope or expensive black granite worktop with the glittery particles, and also reminds me of murano glass jewellery, anyhoo, onto the pics.....

 

The Avon Opal Coat cost £2.50 from Campaign/brochure 13, prices fluctuate between campaigns, but if you can back order this I'd say definitely go get it!  It's gorgeous!!  Can't wait to try over different colours!
