Halloween Nail Art Stickers from Born Pretty Store

Halloween is just over 2 weeks away so here's a mani of mine using Halloween Nail Stickers from Born Pretty Store.  There's at least 30 stickers which include black and white cobwebs, spiders, ghosts and bats plus 2 rows of white cobwebs.  Some of the stickers have metallic discs to give them a bit of glitz.  The stickers are on a clear backing sheet which is really handy because you can hold the decal over your nail to see how it will look before applying. Simply peel the decal from the backing sheet, press onto your nail and seal with top coat.  I applied them over a purple & lilac gradient, they will look great over lots of colours, next time I'll try them over a red base.  Plenty of stickers for a few manis.

Bird Water Decals from Nicole Diary

I was recently contacted by Dora at Nicole Diary to review some of their water decals.  I jumped at the chance because I LOVE WATER DECALS!   Water decals are a great way of  creating fabulous nail art designs and they are so easy to use.
Here's the 10 packs of water decals I received from Nicole Diary, problem is which to choose first!

I chose pattern number 38 - Bird Water Decals over a sponged gradient of pink, blue & yellow.
Whether you use the decals on all your nails or just as an accent nail there are plenty of birds for at least 2 manis.

If you've not tried water decals before, give them a go, simply soak in a little water, remove from the backing paper, apply to your painted nails and seal with top coat - done!  Check out my video below for a demonstration.

Hi everyone!  A couple of manis to show you using a pair of beautiful 3D Heart & Rhinestone Nail Decorations with a little bit of glitter & stamping thrown in!  The gold tone nail decorations have a rhinestone encrusted heart dangling from a bow which also has a rhinestone centre.  Here's a litte more about the manis I created.
On the left and pink and purple gradient topped with sparse gold glitter in a clear base to compliment the gold tone of the nail decorations.

Today's mani is a little bit naughty using Devils Angels water decals from YRNails.  I first of all painted my nails a hot red and then sponged over the top with yellow & red to give a hot firey effect, placed the water decals on top and sealed with top coat.  If you can't be a devil in real life have a bit of devilish fun on your nails!  YRNails have a huge range of water decals which they manufacture in the UK.  They also supply their own brand of nail polish which are 5 free and come in 10ml bottles with very good brushes.

smART Nails Stencils P065 - The Chevron Lace

Today's mani is all about the Zigs & the Zags with stencils and a sponged gradient.  A nice simple design yet eye catching.  I used smART Nails stencils P065 over a white base with blue, green and lilac sponging over the top.   The good thing about the stencil is it has 4 narrow chevrons on each sticker which saves time as no faffing about trying to eye up each chevron to each other, just place on your nail and your ready to paint over all 4 of them.  The smART Nails Chevron Lace stencils come in a pack of 10 and there are a growing number of different designs to choose from with new designs being introduced weekly.  Simply peel off the stencil from the backing paper.  The stencil is transparent so you can see exactly where to place it on the nail.  Press onto your dry nail and make sure there are no air bubbles.  Apply your contrasting polish and immediate remove the stencil.  Wait for the contrasting colour to dry and apply top coat.
