Holographic Glitter Nail Foil from Charlies Nail Art

I'm going for gold with a couple of manis using Holographic Nail Foil from Charlies Nail Art.  A stunning gold holographic foil which I've used as full coverage and as tips combined with a bit of stamping using Stamping Plate QA20.
On the left is my full blown gold nails, wowzers, it's good!  Applied over a neutral colour polish, the gold holographic foil dazzles in the sunshine.  On the right I applied the foil as tips over a red mani, sealed with top coat and then stamped on top.  

If you've not tried nail foils before they are easy to use.  Apply a special nail foil adhesive over your nails and wait for the glue to become transparent.  Then place the foil on top of your nail and gently rub with your finger, hoof stick or cotton bud and in seconds the design is transferred to your nail.  Apply top coat to seal and you're done!

Polka Dot Nail Foil & Nail Studs from Charlies Nail Art

Today I'm dotty, spotty & potty with some gorgeous nail art items from Charlies Nail Art.  Two fun polka dot manis using pink Polka Dot Nail Foil & colourful studs.  The neon pink polka dots take on different colour depending on your base colour, for example over white or pink they'll look pink, over blue they look purple and over yellow they take on a red hue.
My mani on the left is a pastel ombre base of yellow, peach, pink, lilac & mint green with the neon pink polka dots having slightly different shades because of the different coloured base.
My mani on the right is colour co-ordinated with studs also from Charlies Nail Art.

If you've not tried nail foils before they are a easy to use.  Apply a special nail foil adhesive over your mani and wait for the glue to become transparent.  Then place the foil on top of your nail and gently rub with your finger, hoof stick or cotton bud and in seconds the design is transferred to your nail.  Apply top coat to seal and you're done!

Frosted Star Nail Foil from Sparkly Nails

When I got up this morning it was misty outside and everything was covered in a light frost.  This has inspired today's mani using Frosted Star nail foil from Sparkly Nails over a turquoise base (however my camera has decided to make my nails look blue!).  The nail foil has a clear background so you can see exactly where to place the holographic stars on your nails.  The Frosted Stars add a cool look to your nails especially when the light bounces off them revealing a splash of rainbow holographicness.  The foil looks super over dark or brighter shades.  So if you don't get on with stamping, foils are a brilliant alternative to create intricate nail art and they are so easy to apply.

Bronze Metallic Nail Foil from Charlies Nail Art

Today's nails are metallic chic using Metallic Nail Foil from Charlies Nail Art.  This shade is bronze but could be mistaken for antique gold.  Before applying the foil I painted my nails in a similar shade to the foil so that if there were any little peepy holes in the foil they would be masked by the base colour (Models Own Chrome Rose).  The foil is super shiny and will probably last a night out, however to seal the foil I use a special nail foil top coat (Special FX Sealer) to make the foil last, albeit the foil crinkles a little but I can live with that.  The size of the foil is enough for a whole mani and there are 14 colours to choose from.

Bow Pattern Nail Foil from Charlies Nail Art

A cute pastel mani today with a Bow Pattern nail foil from Charlies Nail Art.  The nail foil includes white flowers edged in pink with lilac, turquoise & pink bows on a clear back ground so you can see your nail polish colour underneath.  Because of the foil's clear background it will look great over lots of different colours, next time I'm going to try over a dark colour to see if the flowers & bows pop - I'll let you know how I get on.
I applied the foil over a pastel pink base on three of my fingers, with contrasting turquoise thumb and ring finger adorned with colour co-ordinated studs also from Charlies Nail Art.
