Mystic Crystal Stud Earrings from Born Pretty Store

I've got some really gorgeous Mystic Crystal Silver Tone Stud Earrings from Born Pretty Store to share with you.  The dark purple stones are held in a 4 prong silver tone setting with butterfly backs.  When the light hits the stones you see a rainbow of colours, greens, turquoise, blues, purple & lilac - wonderfully mystical!  They remind me of Mystic Topaz stones and look more expensive than the bargain price they are.  The round brilliant cut stones are 6mm in diameter and I think could be mistaken for real gemstones.   Comfortable to wear and suitable for both casual and going out.
Check out my video and photos below, for the money I think they're pretty amazing!

These are all my own photos and I'm so pleased I caught the rainbow colours with my camera

Aqua Colour Gemstone Nail Jewellery from Lady Queen

Today's deep turquoise shimmer mani is being shown off with a rather lovely piece of Coloured Nail Jewellery from Lady Queen on my ring finger.  The diamond shaped nail jewel has a large pear shaped stone in the middle and is surrounded with small round stones.  I'd describe the coloured stones to that of turquoise tourmaline, and the clear as aurora borealis.  The nail polish (Nails Inc Bayswater Road) is a perfect match.
The Lady Queen nail jewellery is available in 24 designs and this is number 62-19.  The nail jewellery is flat backed and slightly curved to fit your nail and can be attached with wet top coat or nail glue for a more secure option, and can be reused.

And in case you were wondering the nail polish it's Nails Inc Bayswater Road
The Coloured Nail Jewellery currently costs $1.94 / £1.25 / €1.59.   You can also use my 15% discount code AELC15 which gets you 15% off full priced items!

Silver Sundial Nail Water Decals from Sparkly Nails

A sundial is a device that tells the time of day by the apparent position of the Sun in the sky, but there's not much chance of a great deal of sunlight during our winter so I'll stick to a  wrist watch and decorating my nails with them instead.  So here's a couple of my manis using silver Sundial water decals from Sparkly Nails.  Over a purple base (OPI Funky Dunkey) I used sections of the Sundial at the base of my nail.  Over a cool grey base (Nails Inc The Thames) I used both complete and partial decals.  The silver Sundial water decals will look better over darker colours.
If you've not tried water decals before, give them a go, simply soak in a little water, remove from the backing paper, apply to your painted nails and seal with top coat - done!
If you love water decals as much as me, why not join the Facebook group I've just set up called Wonderful Water Decals.

Silver Lace Swirl Nail Foil from Charlies Nail Art

Oooo I do love a nail foil, especially a holographic one.  So I spruced up my plain red mani with Silver Lace Swirl nail foil from Charlies Nail Art which is perfect for a beginner.  This is because you don't have to ensure full coverage of the foil over your nail.  The foil has a clear background with silver holographic swirls.  Apply special nail foil adhesive over your mani and wait for the glue to become transparent.  Then place the foil on top of your nail and gently rub with your finger, hoof stick or cotton bud and in seconds the design is transferred to your nail.  Apply top coat to seal and you're done!  The foil will look great over lots of different colours.

Born Pretty Store Clear Jelly Stamper & Stamping Plate BP-L 003

The clear jelly stamper is a revolution in the nail art stamping world.  A clear silicone stamper which allows you to look down the barrel and see exactly what has been stamped and where precisely to place on your nail - why didn't anyone think of this before!  My Clear Jelly Nail Stamper is from Born Pretty Store, comes with a scraper and is available in 3 colours, pink, purple and white (I have white).  I did have to practice using the new clear jelly stamper, unlike my squishy stamper which I simply place on top of the painted image, the clear jelly stamper in my opinion requires a rolling technique and you need to work fast.  Quick roll and place straight onto your nail.  I found that if you pressed too hard the stamp didn't pick up the image, but hey, I'm still practicing.  There's a different type of stamper for every occasion, this will be great for precise placement of a pattern onto your nail.  The clear jelly stamper head is firmer than a squishy stamper and I've discovered from other bloggers do not use acetone to clean as this will breakdown the silicone head, use a lint sticky roller to clean up.  Take a look at my video tutorial below which shows the clear jelly stamper in action, I've also used a large stamping plate from Born Pretty Store which is Stamping Plate BP-L003.
Onto the pics!!!!
Looking down the barrel with the jelly stamper at the bottom.  You can quite clearly see the stamped image and you can stamp precisely on your nail.

 The Clear Jelly Nail Stamper & Scraper is currently $2.99 / £2.10 / €2.76

Models Own Diamond Luxe Collection

There's a Models Own bottle shop near to me at Brent Cross Shopping Centre.  My Boss very kindly bought me the Models Own Diamond Luxe Collection, a set of 10 beautiful shimmer nail polishes.  Each bottle is usually £4.99 each, however every now and again Models Own have 50% off which makes them £2.50 each and they're 14mls.  The Diamond Luxe set came in a zipped clear bag and all have distinctive gold tone caps and lettering.
